My workplace is situated on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy which includes the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani, the Tsuut-ina, the Îyâxe Nakota Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

I recognize the systemic impact that colonization has had (and continues to have) on Indigenous Peoples and the land, my power and privilege within this system, and my own responsibilities toward change.
